World of Concrete Selected by U.S. Department of Commerce for International Buyer Program for 2014 & 2015 Shows

Dallas, TX, June 6, 2013 – World of Concrete will continue to bring international buyers together with U.S. exhibitors to expand business domestically and overseas. For the 9th consecutive year, the U.S. Department of Commerce has selected the World of Concrete for the International Buyer Program (IBP) for both the 2014 and 2015 shows. WOC draws significant attendance at each event working with the Department of Commerce.
WOC 2014, January 21-24; Seminars 20-24 in Las Vegas, will offer delegations from all over the globe the opportunity to attend World of Concrete to connect with U.S. exhibitors interested in exporting goods and services in the International Business Center.
“Our exhibitors have expressed tremendous interest in the international buyers and this program allows us to reach qualified international buyers who are the perfect fit for the markets we serve,” said Jackie James, Director of World of Concrete. “In addition, the international buyers are very keen on learning about the new technologies and products available to the construction and masonry professionals.”
WOC 2014 will once again feature special product and action areas, including The Producer Center, a marketplace of materials, equipment, demos, and seminars for concrete producers; Material Handling, offering trucks, excavators and more for material delivery, distribution, concrete placement, and earth moving; Concrete Repair & Demolition, housing a display of surface preparation equipment, scarifying, grinding, sawing equipment, and other demolition products; World of Masonry, showcasing products, tools, information, and technology for masonry professionals; Technology for Construction, featuring the newest products and tools for the commercial construction industry from top information technology and systems providers; and Concrete Surfaces & Decorative showcasing the popularity of decorative concrete for both commercial and residential applications.

International Business Center
The International Business Center is staffed with interpreters fluent in languages, including Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French and German.
Export / Import
A Trade Specialist from a Commercial Service Office and an Industry Specialist will be available during the show to answer questions and provide export counseling to WOC 2014 Exhibitors. Assistance is also available to international buyers to help meet purchasing and representation objectives during the show.
An Export Interest Directory, featuring information on export interests of U.S. exhibitors including company information, products and geographical areas of interest will be available onsite. WOC also offers online matchmaking for U.S. exhibitors and international attendees through the International Buyer Program.
