For several years, different companies selling listings in their “Exhibitors Directory” or “Fair Guides” have been actively soliciting exhibitors who participate at numerous trade shows throughout the country, including World of Concrete. The companies typically make it appear they have received your information from the World of Concrete and that there is a connection between their “guide” and the World of Concrete. Similar attempts have been made for housing, list rental programs, and partners of the show selling sponsorship packages. View list of approved vendors.
What Exhibitors Say About WOC
“We’re a field management platform from Australia and WOC is actually one of the first conferences we’ve been to. One of our U.S. contacts told us that WOC was the event for us to be at if we wanted to break into the U.S. market. So far, it’s been great and a massive learning experience. Outside of getting our brand in front of this huge audience, we’re getting some really good insights into how the people here do business and how they might actually be able to use us best. We’ve learned so much about what we need to do to prepare our launch in the U.S. and it couldn’t have been more valuable for us.”
“We’ve been coming for several years now and we always opt for the outdoor space. Our major goal for coming to WOC is connect face-to-face with contractors and also hopefully find new distribution channels. Traffic has been really good this year and we’re writing a ton of leads. I think part of it is our live demos because they really help show people how the product works. It’s pretty rare to find hands on, but it’s essential to sell our product and that’s one of the most important reasons we’re going to keep coming here. ”
“There is really good natural flow at this show compared to some of the others we go to. Overall there has been a lot of traffic through the booth. We don’t have to wave people down like we do at other shows.”
“The show has been great–like it always is! We’ve been coming here for ten years because we make so many contacts here that we can keep those relationships going all year long. In 2007, we sold 35 machines for almost $2.7 million. Yah, it’s safe to say this is our anchor show and will be for a long time. We know everything is tied to the building industry, but it seems to be coming back to be one of those great years for us. ”
