NEW FOR 2014  The new ACI Building Code has significant revisions as pertains to how materials and construction requirements are handled. There is a totally new chapter devoted to construction.  This chapter is written to the designer and represents the biggest overall change in the code. The Code takes an entirely new approach to construction requirements and preparation of construction documents.

  1. Explain the revised provisions for developing concrete mixture proportions
  2. Assign exposure classes to concrete structures
  3. Examine the most important changes to the ACI Building Code
  4. Use the provisions of the construction documents chapter to specify concrete construction
