NEW FOR WOC 2014 Moisture-related problems with floor coverings and coatings continue to be one of the most serious and costly of construction and renovation issues. In this program attendees will not only learn the underlying causes of moisture-related flooring problems but will also be taken step-by-step through the investigative process that is used to determine exactly what is causing a particular flooring issue and establish who or what is to blame for it.

  1. Explore where potentially damaging moisture comes from and how it can adversely affect flooring materials and installations
  2. Identify what testing tools and techniques are used in the field and in the lab to seek out the root cause(s) of a flooring problem
  3. Select and implement a repair strategy based on the results of your investigation
  4. Examine how to avoid moisture-related flooring problems before they happen
