Concrete cracks and that's a fact! First, the evaluation, then the selection of a repair procedure and finally, the crack repair will be discussed. Attendees will learn how to choose the best repair procedure for different types of cracks and see how to make each repair. This session will cover various repair methods including routing and sealing, stitching, grouting, drypacking, gravity filling, epoxy injection, crack arresting, penetrating sealers, overlays and surface treatments.

  1. Evaluate how to choose the best repair procedure for active and dormant cracks
  2. Summarize repair techniques for routing and sealing cracks
  3. Identify repair method options based on unique criteria from case studies
  4. Discuss stitching, grouting, drypacking, gravity filling, epoxy injection and surface treatments
