In this 4-hour trainer workshop, employers’ attendees will receive a complete in-house qualification program and training on how to implement. Participants will become authorized as in-house instructors to teach rules/regulations on how to properly inspect and operate Aerial Boom and Scissor Lifts. This program will assist employers in complying with the Federal Law requiring qualified Personnel Lift operators in your facilities and/or on the jobsite.
URGENT NOTICE: As per the federal and state laws 29CFR1910.178 employers must ensure that all employees who operate Aerial Boom and Scissor Lifts are qualified persons and they have been trained, passed a written exam and evaluated in their ability to operate the Aerial Boom and/or Scissor Lift safely and perform the operating tasks required of them. (Proof of training or qualification must be available to OSHA upon request.)
- Employer must ensure that all employees have been properly trained, tested and evaluated on the safe use of the Aerial Boom and Scissor Lifts in accordance with the federal law prior to operating one at work
- Operators must be retrained, retested and reevaluated whenever they are involved in an accident, near miss or observed operating unsafely
- Fall protection requirements for Aerial Boom Lifts must be covered with each employee
Participants will receive the Trainer’s Kit (valued at $395) which contains Trainer’s Manual, PowerPoint presentation and script, practice quizzes with grading keys, practical evaluation forms, twenty 44-page student handbooks and a tote bag. Registration fee includes complimentary admission to WOC 2014 exhibits—an $80 value.
