MOOSHA - OSHA 10-Hour Concrete/Masonry Construction Safety Program

This 10-hour safety workshop satisfies the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's (OSHA's) 10-hour construction safety training program requirements. The program provides concrete/masonry workers, supervisors and other field personnel with an awareness of safety and health concerns in the construction industry and places a special emphasis on the OSHA regulations that address concrete/masonry issues. This information is essential for those who need to know current OSHA regulations and requirements for safety and health standards or need to verify these standards are followed. 
This OSHA 10-hour construction safety program is specifically designed to help concrete/masonry workers and supervisors identify and avoid hazards they are likely to encounter every day on the job. The workshop is highly engaging and includes video segments of jobsite scenarios that show typical hazards and their remedies.

This interactive workshop will be presented in designated modules using a combination of text book material, visual media, lecture and demonstration:

• Health Hazards and Basics of Personal Protective Equipment
• Electrical Safety
• Struck By/Caught In
• Fall Protection
• Scaffolding
• Trenching/Excavation
• Concrete and Masonry Construction
• Safety Programs
Registration includes 29 CFR 1926 OSHA Construction Industry Regulations Manual (a $50 value), Introduction to OSHA Student Handout Packet, continental breakfast, boxed lunch and safety training completion card.
