NEW FOR 2014  There are many uses for BIM in construction and specifically for concrete contractors.  This class will examine the process from taking a BIM model through the estimating process and how to use the information gathered to develop a highly accurate schedule.

  1. Explore different strategies for using Building Information Modeling for estimating
  2. Identify steps to developing an accurate estimate using a BIM model
  3. Create a schedule using the information gathered from the model and visualize it
  4. Identify the benefits and costs of utilizing BIM for estimating and scheduling
