- EXPLORING ARCHITECTURAL PRAXIS: A CONCRETE TIMELINE

Wednesday, January 22 from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM | Silver Lot, front of South Hall « Back

Translating Ideas into Action is the premise behind this year's featured event. We will take problematic architectural concrete designs and demonstrate how these can be done through strategic alliances. Over a 4-day period Tao Group will create examples of selected floor designs from Architectural & Design Groups across the country. In the end, multiple floor designs will combine to create a Tribute to the History of Architecture, Craftsmanship and the World of Concrete.

This is an official world of concrete event, with all demonstrations and presentations facilitated by Tao Group. This premiere event will take place during show hours at World of Concrete 2014 in the Silver Lot. The event is held over a 4-day period at the Las Vegas Convention Center January 21-24; Seminars January 20-24. This is an exclusive area and only qualified attendees will be admitted.
Prior to the show, you will receive a letter of invitation via email inviting you to this area.

DEMONSTRATION DESCRIPTION
Exploring Architectural Praxis is a hands-on education/demonstration area. The Architect, Engineer or Designer who is present at any one of a number of demonstrations will walk away with a better understanding of functionality and aesthetics in concrete. The demonstrations will address limitations in design, common technical issues and help bridge the gap between the Architects, Engineers,
Designers and Contractors. Specification examinations will also be provided during the show. There is no formal test, nor any manner of verification of learning associated with this area. This will be an interactive area demonstrating unique floor systems in a “myth-busting” approach.
