TUPPB - Pervious Concrete Field Project for Installer Certification

Tuesday, January 21 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM | GOLD LOT, Pervious Live! « Back

This “hands-on” learning activity is open to all registered WOC attendees, but registrants taking advantage of this opportunity to demonstrate and enhance their skills as pervious concrete installers can meet one of the requirements for the pervious concrete installer certification. During the two-hour field project participants will practice and demonstrate procedures for placing, compacting, finishing, edging, jointing and early curing of a pervious concrete slab.

Instructors will observe and evaluate the techniques used and record “pass” or “fail” grades on various individual procedures. Participants who “pass” the field project exercise will be issued credit for completing one of three required construction projects for the pervious concrete installer and will need to work with their NRMCA Local Sponsoring Group regarding qualifications for the installer level of the certification.

Presented by Concrete Construction and The Concrete Producer magazines.

NOTE: Space is limited to 8 participants per time slot, so register early!
