Kim is a member of various ACI committees, has served as an expert witness of both construction and engineering in numerous litigation and arbitration cases and is the author of over one hundred published articles. Kim is a seasoned instructor of many concrete seminars and short courses directed towards architects, engineers and contractors across the United States and abroad and currently serves as an advisor for the World of Concrete Education Program. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and Master of Science in Structural Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and also holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Wyoming.
